The English (East India Company), who came to India to trade, planted the seeds of his future. By 1840 (a good 160 years back), there were registered companies trading in the market with half a dozen recognised brokers. By 1860, there were 60 brokers!
The first stock market mania in India happened then. The civil war broke out in the US and India was the only supplier of cotton to the world! By 1861, there were 250 brokers.The civil war ended in 1865 and there was a big slump in the market. The Bank of Bombay share, which traded at a princely price of Rs2,850 crashed to Rs87 in no time.
After the slump, the brokers decided to regulate themselves. As a first step, they moved in together to stay as a flock on one street--that street is today known as "Dalal Street". Year 1899 is when the Bombay Stock Exchange was formed.

The CRO is a perfect voltmeter as its input resistance is very high indeed.
· We measure the voltage on the vertical axis, which is controlled by the y-plates. We can adjust the sensitivity by turning the knob marked y-gain or voltage gain.
· The horizontal direction is determined by the time base setting. It controls the number of times the beam is swept across the screen every second. We can change this by using the time base knob which controls the x-plates.

" VOTING " should be compulsory in INDIA !!
INDIA is not rising because the people of india are not contributing in it.
If every person will start thinking for the betterment of our country ,then our country will definately rise.
THE biggest example is 2009 Lok Sabha elections .
the slogan is :- : " VOTE INDIA ".
We have to right to choose our appropiate leader,who leads our country in the world,but in first phase of the 2009 Lok Sabha elections recorded 58-62 percent voter turnout only.
The percentage of votes polled in a large number of constituencies is proof that rapidly India is degenerating away from being a functional democracy.
VOTING IS OUR RIGHT.
The poor voter turnout of 41.24 percent for the 2009 Lok Sabha elections in India's financial and entertainment capital, Mumbai, was the lowest since 1977 and many residents say it sends a powerful message - politicians must not take them for granted.
I think vote the right person and if no person is liable in the list there should be a option of NONE OF THE ABOVE if this minor change is done..u'll see 100% of Voting.
Despite the fact ,that we vote for BJP or CONGRESS or third party ,noteworthy is we should vote ,and tell others to vote ,those who are assuming as a holiday on the voting day .
There should be an act or law which makes a compulsory provision of "VOTING" IN INDIA.

Dropping Kaif was Warne's big blunder
Shane warne may have groomed many young talents in the IPL, but he has committed a big blunder this season by sending back Mohammaed Kaif.
The absence of Kaif is proving to be too costly for Rajasthan Royals who are struggling to even chase modest totals in IPL'second season. Rajasthan Team was dismissed just for 58, the lowest score in the IPL so far. Royals could only manage 112 runs against Kings XI Punjab when they chased a modest target of 140.
The reason cited by Royals management for Kaif's axing from the team was his poor form in the first season. Uttar Pradesh batsman could manage only 176 at average of just 16 in the first season, largely because he was shunted lower down the order.
Shane Warne should have considered the experience of Kaif before omitting him from the team. The 28-year-old Kaif has played 13 Tests and 125 One-dayers for India.
Kaif could have been crucial for Royals team in the bowler friendly pitches of South Africa. It is to be remembered that Rahul Dravid who failed in the IPL's first season was the top scorer for Royal Challengers in the their opening matches.
Big hitters like Yusuf Pathan can't always ensure victory in a twenty20 match, you also need batsmen who could hold the innings together.
It is not over yet, Rajasthan Royals can think again and bring back Mohammad Kaif.
